Jeremy Doku did not even start for Manchester City in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League win over BSC Young Boys.
However, the Belgium international still managed to make a bit of history.
So, what did Jeremy Doku do? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, the Manchester City No.11 only came on in the 80th minute of Tuesday’s 3-0 win over BSC Young Boys.
However, Doku somehow managed to record six successful dribbles in just over ten minutes of action.
In doing so, the 21-year-old became the first player on record to complete that many dribbles in a UEFA Champions League match after coming on in the 80th minute or later.
That is according to OptaJoe.
What an achievement from Doku – to say the least.
The Belgian already made headlines with his stunning performance against Bournemouth on Saturday, in which he scored one and assisted another four as Manchester City won 6-1.

Doku actually set a new record after that clash as well, becoming the youngest player in Premier League history to register five goal involvements in a single game.
Now, the £55.5m man has taken his record breaking talents onto the European scene.
Manchester City have a genuinely special talent in Jeremy Doku
Doku’s antics across the past week are not normal for a footballer – let alone one who is just 21 years of age.
The Belgian did not only register six dribbles in his cameo on Tuesday, but also managed to provide one key pass, hit one shot on target and also make a tackle – as shown by WhoScored.

If this is what Doku is capable of now – aged just 21 and with only a few months of training under Pep Guardiola – just imagine what he could become in a couple of years.
In truth, there is nothing stopping him from becoming the best outright winger in the world.
Hopefully, Doku continues to go from strength to strength under Guardiola at Manchester City.
