Zack Steffen has now made a claim about Riyad Mahrez – who left Manchester City for Saudi Arabia in July.
The 28-year-old was speaking on Total Media’s #OnTheJudy Podcast.
So, what did Zack Steffen say about Riyad Mahrez? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, the United States international opted to name the Algerian first, when asked who the deadliest finishers were at Manchester City in training, and also in official matches.
Steffen said: “Hmm. Deadliest finisher. Riyad Mahrez. Just the shooting.
“I mean, Kev (De Bruyne) is pretty lethal. Kun (Aguero) was up there, just clinical in the box.”
Pep Guardiola allowed Mahrez to leave Manchester City for Al-Ahli in a £30m deal back in July.
It came after the 32-year-old helped Manchester City win a historic treble, scoring 15 goals while also providing 13 assists in 47 appearances.
Mahrez himself approved the move and wanted to depart – according to The Athletic – after being offered a yearly salary of £25m.

It was a shame to see the Algeria international leave, as he often stepped up for Manchester City in significant games, while also making light work of the so-called smaller clubs.
Mahrez scored a remarkable hat-trick in the 3-0 FA Cup Semi-Final win against Sheffield United last season, for example.
How Mahrez is performing in Saudi Arabia after Manchester City exit
Unsurprisingly, the Sarcelles-born winger has started well at Al-Ahli.
Mahrez has already scored five goals in 12 appearances for the Saudi Pro League side, while also providing six assists.

The Manchester City fan favourite was brought to Al-Ahli along with Roberto Firmino and Allan Saint-Maximin, so at least he has two quality players to link up with in Saudi Arabia.
As aforesaid, it was sad to see Mahrez depart, but Guardiola now has another electric winger in Jeremy Doku, who is 11 years younger than the African forward – a fine response from Manchester City’s recruitment team, to say the least.
