As Manchester City face Sheffield United in the FA Cup semi-final, we have tried to predict the outright favourites’ predicted lineup.
After the Sky Blues drew 1-1 to Bayern Munich to book their place in the Champions League semi-final, we expect as many as 6 changes to be made to the side.

In goal, Ederson could be replaced by Stefan Ortega in our Manchester City predicted lineup against Sheffield United, as the No.2 is the cup goalkeeper.
At right-back, Kyle Walker, who dropped to the bench against Bayern could come into the side to hand John Stones a breather.
Manuel Akanji, who started at right-back against Thomas Tuchel’s side could shift to centre-back.

With no real young centre-backs coming through the ranks at City currently, a senior partnership is expected to be fielded against the Championship opponents.
At left-back, with Nathan Ake confirming his latest hamstring blow, Aymeric Laporte looks set to come in for him into the side.
Considering Ake could well miss the title decider against Arsenal, the Spaniard may be given a chance to up his match fitness and also get a feel for playing in an unnatural position.
At the base of midfield is likely to be Rodri, considering Pep Guardiola is known to go strong in cup competitions and especially during trips to Wembley.
With that in mind, Bernardo Silva is also expected to retain his place in our predicted lineup against Sheffield United but in midfield for Kevin De Bruyne, who could be rested.
Ilkay Gundogan seems like a safe bet to partner him, before eventually being substituted if the Sky Blues are cruising through the game.
At right-wing, Riyad Mahrez seems likely to start due to Bernardo Silva leaving the berth open, essentially coming in for Kevin De Bruyne.
Erling Haaland also seems dead set to be rested for Julian Alvarez in our predicted lineup against Sheffield United.
On the left flank, Jack Grealish, who impact on this City side was recently lauded by Rio Ferdinand on the FIVE YouTube channel is also likely to start.
