As Manchester City prepare to face BSC Young Boys at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday, we have tried to call their predicted lineup.

Coming off the back of their 6-1 annihilation of AFC Bournemouth, we expect Pep Guardiola to make as many as five changes to his side.

In goal, Ederson Moraes is expected to start in our Manchester City predicted lineup against Young Boys.

At right-back, Rico Lewis could take Kyle Walker’s place in the side, having started two out of City’s three games in the Champions League.

At centre-back, John Stones looks likely to start, having been taken off against Bournemouth in the 71st minute on Saturday.

Alongside the 29-year-old is set to be Ruben Dias in our Manchester City predicted lineup against Young Boys, considering Manuel Akanji played in his place against the Cherries.

At left-back, Josko Gvardiol could also replace Nathan Ake after having been rested against Bournemouth.

It goes without saying that Rodri is expected to screen the hosts’ back four at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night.

Bernardo Silva, who dazzled against Bournemouth with a stunning brace could start in midfield in our Manchester City predicted lineup against Young Boys, with Mateo Kovacic returning to the bench.

Alongside the Portuguese maestro could be Matheus Nunes, branded as ‘exceptional’ by Pep Guardiola after his bright cameo on Saturday.

Phil Foden, who got on the scoresheet off the bench on the weekend could take Bernardo Silva’s spot at right-wing.

On the left flank, Jeremy Doku is virtually a guaranteed starter after bagging a goal and four assists against Andoni Iraola’s side.

After Pep Guardiola confirmed that he took Erling Haaland off at half-time against Bournemouth due to a twist in his ankle (via Manchester Evening News), he also confirmed that one remains unsure whether he will be fully fit for the upcoming clash or the game against Chelsea.

As a result, perhaps the Spaniard plays it safe, drops the Norwegian and simply starts Julian Alvarez up front.
