Manchester City secured another victory in the Premier League with a 3-2 win over Fulham.
Having drawn their two previous league matches against Arsenal and Newcastle United, City went into this match against the Cottagers off the back of a 4-0 midweek win against Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League.
Despite conceding twice, a brace from Mateo Kovacic and a goal from Jeremy Doku helped Pep Guardiola’s side pick up all three points and keep their unbeaten streak going at the Etihad Stadium.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live (via BBC Sport) after the match against Marco Silva’s side, Kovacic said this about how Ederson stopped the result from being a different one for City.
He said: “We could have conceded an equaliser but thankfully we have Ederson in our goal.”
How did Ederson rescue City against Fulham?
All the way back in 2017, City shelled out £35m to sign the 30-year-old from Benfica. Since then, he’s gone on to make 341 appearances across all competitions, keeping 157 clean sheets and winning multiple trophies along the way.
Having started all of City’s league games so far this season, Ederson showed in the Fulham game why he is so important for the Blues and why he is their first-choice goalkeeper.
Even though he conceded two goals, the Brazilian made two crucial saves throughout the match, one of which came from inside his penalty box.
