Matt Le Tissier has expressed his surprise after coming across a certain feat a Manchester City player has accomplished.
The pundit has not hidden the fact that he disagrees with the honour bestowed upon the player in question.
At Euro 2024, one Manchester City player who had a very disappointing campaign was Kyle Walker.
The £50 million man has been excellent for England throughout his international career but it seemed like his age was starting to show at the European Championship.
Walker recently expressed how disappointed he was after the Three Lions lost the Euro 2024 final 2-1 to Spain — disclosing that he felt that his national team could get over the line this time around.

Matt Le Tissier left shocked at Kyle Walker revelation
The 34-year-old’s positioning for Nico Williams and Mikel Oyarzabal’s goals were widely slated — as he was nowhere near the former before he scored while Marc Cucurella was granted acres of space to set up the winner.
It will be interesting to see whether England’s managerial replacement for Gareth Southgate will opt for Walker as his starting right-back.
It is also worth remembering that by the time the 2026 World Cup comes around, the six-time Premier League winner will have turned 36.
As Walker was named in the Euro 2024 Team of the Tournament, Matt Le Tissier took to X to express that the decision was a surprise as he felt he was quite poor throughout the competition.
“I’ve been a big fan of Kyle’s for a long time but deary me, he was worse than average this tournament.”
Tough to disagree with Matt Le Tissier about Kyle Walker
It is difficult to disagree with Matt Le Tissier as Walker not only struggled against Spain but also in the Round of 16 against Slovakia, especially in one-v-one situations while in possession, he was alarmingly sloppy for most of the tournament.
Whether that be in terms of his ground passing, crossing or first touch, the veteran was far from his best on the ball.
Considering Dani Carvajal played a key role in Spain winning the tournament and managed to provide the perfect balance in attack and at the back, it was a surprise to see Walker — who did not play his best football take arguably the standout right-back at the competition’s place in the side.
