Manchester City have had their fair share of legends throughout the decades.
From the likes of Eric Brook in the 1930s all the way through to modern stars like Kevin De Bruyne, there have been plenty of players for generations of City fans to enjoy.
The last 15 years have been particularly fruitful in terms of iconic players as City established themselves as one of the greatest teams in world football.
With plenty of stars to choose from, Micah Richards was tasked with selecting his personal all-star five-a-side team composed solely of City players, though it eventually became six-a-side.

Micah Richards opts for Joe Hart, Yaya Toure, David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and Erling Haaland
Richards, speaking on The Rest is Football, was asked by Gary Lineker to select his ideal five-a-side team made up of City stars past and present.
And it proved such a difficult task for Richards that Lineker effectively changed it to a six-a-side team as he allowed the former City ace an extra player.
When it came to the goalkeeper, Richards named both Joe Hart or Ederson as his two candidates.
He opted for the £600,000 signing from Shrewsbury because “I love Harty”.
Richards then went for Yaya Toure and David Silva before stalling, at which point Lineker allowed him an extra outfield player.
Lineker suggested Kevin De Bruyne, which Richards agreed with, and his final two players were Sergio Aguero and Erling Haaland.
“It’s not very defensive but you won’t get the ball of them I suppose,” said Lineker, to which Richards replied: “Exactly!”
Legends of the game
Richards’ selection will no doubt stir up debate, particularly with those who would question the effectiveness of such a team in five-a-side (or six-a-side, in this case).
Nonetheless, all five players have been superb for City and, in Haaland’s case, he’s still at the start of his career at the Etihad Stadium, so there’s little doubt his numbers will go on to match those of his peers.

Although Man City aren’t doing amazingly at present, the rebuild has already begun, with the club busy making top signings during the January transfer window.
