It has been reported that Manchester City are exploring a potential move for RB Leipzig forward Dani Olmo.
This comes from journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, as the Sky Blues seem keen on bolstering their attack after Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez’s departures.
Now, it seems like Dani Olmo has been shortlisted by Manchester City as a potential target this summer.

Now, it has been revealed that Manchester City are ‘monitoring’ a move for Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig.
Pep Guardiola is believe to ‘appreciate’ his fellow countryman but the Bundesliga side have no intention to sell him.
However, Leipzig are claimed to be demanding a fee in the region of £68.5 million to £85.6 million, as they aim to bank top dollar from his potential sale.
Where Dani Olmo fits in is the question mark
While there is no disputing that Dani Olmo possesses the technical ability and football IQ to become a Manchester City player, where he fits in exactly is the question mark.
As one of the advanced midfielders, Olmo must really up his off-the-ball work to prove to be a success.
Perhaps the La Masia product could be deployed out wide but unlike fellow target Jeremy Doku, he does not possess the 1v1 specialities to constantly leave defenders for dead.
While Dani Olmo has shown himself to be an excellent false nine, the Sky Blues already have Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez at their disposal.
These are perhaps the few lingering doubts that City fans will have on their minds upon coming across their club’s interest in him.
