Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland has expressed his dissatisfaction at how low John Stones’ passing rating is on EA FC24.

The Norwegian striker, alongside the Englishman, Kalvin Phillips and Sergio Gomez were told their official ratings in a show on City’s YouTube channel.

Erling Haaland was unafraid in pinpointing that John Stones’ passing was severely underrated by EA FC24.

Erling Haaland says John Stones’ passing should be ’10 more’ on EA FC24

Branded as ‘amazing’ by Fernandinho, the £47.5 million (Sky Sports) defender has been one of the best passing centre-backs for years on end.

In fact, when Stones initially rose to prominence at Everton, it was his unique ball-playing ability as an English central defender that generated the hype around his name.

When it was revealed in the video that John Stones’ passing was rated 75 on EA FC24, it’s safe to say that Erling Haaland was far from happy.

“Has to be more. Much more. 10 more”, he said.

John Stones should be dissatisfied himself

Erling Haaland is right in reacting in the manner that he did as for EA FC24 to rate his teammate as a 75 rated passer is quite a disgrace.

In fact, it would be a challenge to name a single centre-half who is a better passer of the football than the Manchester City colossus.

Apart from Virgil van Dijk and Aymeric Laporte, who may have claims to be regarded as better passers than John Stones, no other names spring to mind.

At the Etihad Stadium, the likes of Manuel Akanji, Ruben Dias, Nathan Ake and Josko Gvardiol are all terrific distributors.

But Stones has been trusted in possession by Guardiola himself to play in midfield against some of the best teams in the world and even maraud into much more advanced areas of the pitch.

It’s fair to say that EA FC24 have had a howler with this particular rating.
