Manchester City fans have now reacted after hearing that Pep Guardiola personally wants Jamal Musiala at the Etihad Stadium.

It was Christian Falk of German news outlet BILD who made the claim.

So, what have the Manchester City fans been saying about Jamal Musiala? Let’s take a look…

Well, it is safe to say that Manchester City fans are excited by this rumour.

The Germany international is undoubtedly one of the most talented footballers in Europe, blossoming into a real superstar since leaving Chelsea for Bayern Munich in 2019.

Musiala has won four Bundesliga titles since moving to the Allianz Arena, along with one UEFA Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.

The 20-year-old has scored 33 goals, while also providing 26 assists, in 135 appearances for Bayern Munich.

Musiala – who The Secret Scout believe is being considered as a long term replacement for Kevin De Bruyne – would be a sensational signing for Manchester City, and the excitement is understandable.

One Manchester City fan simply said “oh my” in response to the rumour, as they were left in shock.

Another wrote that Manchester City will dominate football globally for the next decade if Musiala joins, which is quite the statement.

Two more Manchester City fans commented on Falk’s claim.

One posted that a midfield trio of Rodri, Phil Foden and Musiala would be “illegal” – opposition midfielders would surely have nightmares about facing those three.

Another fan admitted that the Stuttgart-born wonderkid is their “dream” signing for Manchester City.

Last but not least, two other Manchester City fans analysed the chances of Musiala leaving Bayern Munich.

One expressed pessimism over the attacking midfielder departing, but conceded that it would be “incredible” if a deal was agreed.

Another contrastingly stated that they can see an agreement materialising, adding that Musiala perfectly suits Guardiola’s tactical setup.

Clearly, these Manchester City fans would love to have Musiala at the Etihad Stadium.

Be sure to keep an eye on this saga going into 2024, as the rumours are hotting up.
