Manchester City fans have now reacted after seeing footage of Kevin De Bruyne training at the FIFA Club World Cup.
The Belgium international was spotted in a session alongside his teammates by Jack Gaughan of the Daily Mail.

Well, this is a sight for sore eyes.
De Bruyne has only been able to play 49 minutes of football across two appearances this season, after injuring his hamstring just 23 minutes into the 3-0 win over Burnley back in August.
Manchester City have sorely missed the Belgian’s creativity in midfield – as well as his knack for popping up with goals – with the Citizens currently sat fourth in the Premier League.
De Bruyne’s imminent return was teased by the fact Pep Guardiola named the Manchester City No.17 in his 23-man squad, and now, excitement levels amongst the fanbase have increased after he was seen in training.
One Manchester City fan admitted there are “tears” of happiness in their eyes at seeing the 32-year-old back in training.
Another supporter posted to say that “heaven has finally arrived” after months of “hell” without De Bruyne in midfield.
Elsewhere, two more Manchester City fans commented on the situation.
One supporter emphasised their happiness by saying that they even fell to their knees with joy at the sight of De Bruyne playing football once again.
Another fan said it was “scary news” for the rest of the Premier League, as one of the greatest footballers on the planet nears a return to action.

One simply wrote “oh my days” in excitement after seeing the footage.
Another echoed that by writing “oh my God” as a number of Manchester City fans struggle to contain themselves.
De Bruyne returning to training is simply wonderful news for the treble winners – to say the least.
However – according to The Athletic – the Belgian is not expected to play out in Saudi Arabia, which is probably for the best.
After all, Manchester City surely don’t want to rush him – anyway, De Bruyne will still receive a medal if the Citizens win the FIFA Club World Cup, regardless of whether he appears or not.
