Manchester City will be entering a new era this summer, with Hugo Viana set to become sporting director and a number of iconic players soon leaving.
Kevin De Bruyne is definitely leaving Manchester City this summer, while Kyle Walker is also likely to exit the Etihad Stadium.
Walker effectively brought his time at City to an end in January as he joined Serie A side AC Milan on loan with an option to buy for around £4.2million.

Walker will always be remembered as one of the best full-backs of his era, and fellow full-back Ola Aina has now shared where he ranks among some of the recent greats.
Kyle Walker picked ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andrew Robertson and Gary Neville
Aina, who plays for Nottingham Forest, took part in the Daily Mail’s latest Winner Stays On feature video.
The Reds ace’s first match-up consisted of Walker and Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, and he picked Walker.
The Manchester City ace was then picked ahead of both Reds defender Andrew Robertson and former Manchester United man Gary Neville.
However, when it came to Walker v Dani Carvajal, the Real Madrid man won.
What Kyle Walker now thinks of Manchester City
Walker recently spoke about his time at City as he shared what he thinks of the club and of manager Pep Guardiola now he’s able to look back on his stint.
Speaking on the Kyle Walker Podcast, Walker explained how he has nothing bad to say about anyone or anything at City.
“I’ve got no bad words, nothing to say negatively about Manchester City,” said Walker. “I mean, what that club’s done for me, both on and off the field is incredible. It’s incredible.
“When I look back at it now, and when you kind of take yourself away from the bubble as well, you think how lucky you was.
“That’s no disrespect whatsoever to any of the other clubs that I’ve played for. But the seven years that we had there was, I don’t think it will happen again in football.”
Walker has enjoyed an amazing 17-trophy spell during his time at Manchester City.
He won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups, and two Community Shields – and that’s just the domestic trophies.
Walker was part of the legendary team that won the Treble in 2023, which meant he got his hands on the Champions League, and he also lifted the UEFA Supercup and the Club World Cup.
