Oscar Bobb believes Manchester City are sitting on one of the best young talents in world football in Rico Lewis.
The winger has sat down for an interview with the club, after being promoted to the first-team squad.
Bobb recently made his Premier League debut against Fulham at the Etihad Stadium.
And last week, Bobb was handed minutes in the Champions League for the first time against Red Star Belgrade.
Bobb will be hoping to make an impact for City this season.
He has seen a number of players come from the academy and get chances in recent times.
And in Lewis, Bobb believes City really do have a special young player…

Bobb was asked if he had spoken to Phil Foden and Lewis about the transition to the first-team.
The Norwegian talent says he has had chats with both, and then really piled the praise on Lewis, who enjoyed a breakout season in 2022/23.
He said of the 18-year-old (via mancity.com): “I’ve seen up close all of Rico’s journey in a way. I’ve been speaking to him throughout the last couple of years and it’s been great seeing him become one of the best young talents in the world.”
Lewis made his debut for City in the Premier League against Bournemouth last season in the club’s second game.
He then went on to make 23 first-team appearances for City, playing at right-back and also in midfield. And sometimes he did both positions in one game, something Pep Guardiola said changed the club’s season.
Lewis should serve as inspiration for Bobb
It is lovely to hear this from Bobb, and City fans will hope that he can follow in Lewis’ footsteps.
It was an absolutely brilliant debut season from Lewis, amid all the world-class talent in that City squad.
He is truly a special young player, and undoubtedly one of the very best prospects out there.
It is scary to think how could he could become in only a few more years.
He just needs to keep his head down, work hard and he will have a very successful career at Manchester City.
