Manchester City have two absolutely huge games on the horizon.

With the Premier League title now sewn up, attention is turning to June, when Pep Guardiola’s side will take on Manchester United in the FA Cup final, and then Inter in the Champions League final.

City take on Brighton tonight in the Premier League, and then finish the season against Brentford.

Then it’s all eyes on United.

Pep has the chance to win the FA Cup for only the second time since he came to the Etihad.

While City are a far superior side, anything can happen in a final so City need to bring their A-game at Wembley.

And then of course, it’s onto Istanbul.

City have never played Inter in a competitive game before.

Again, City are a far superior side on paper. But Inter have made the final for a reason. They will be out to upset the odds.

City fans are extremely excited for what the next couple of weeks will have in store.

But there is also a lot of nervousness.

City should be winning both finals and completing the Treble.

But losing is always possible.

Pablo Zabaleta was speaking on the ESPN FC YouTube channel about his former club. And at one point, he was jokingly asked a rather difficult question.

It was ‘What would be worse, losing against Manchester United, or losing against Inter?’

The Argentine joked: “Thank you guys, see you tomorrow! That is so hard. I’m going to answer, but it’s really hard. I think the main competition for Manchester City in this moment is the Champions League. They won absolutely everything domestically in the last 10 years. We’ve beaten United many times.

“I always want to win against United. But for me, if I have to choose, come on, the Champions League.”

Champions League glory is most important for Manchester City, as Pablo Zabaleta suggests losing to Inter would be worse than losing to United

Ideally, City will be triumphing in both finals next month.

That is the hope, and that is the expectation.

But if City were going to lose one of these finals, then most fans would probably agree with Zabaleta, and say that it would be worse to lose to Inter.

There is just a feeling now that this is City’s time.

It is the trophy above all else that every club desires and it’s no different for City.

It has long been elusive. But there is now a brilliant chance to win it for the first time against Inter.
