Manchester City legend Paul Dickov has revealed Jack Grealish has told him he feels Pep Guardiola really trusts him now.
The £100 million star was outstanding once again for City in Saturday night’s 4-1 win over Southampton.

Grealish once again started on the left of the front three, his 11th in a row in the competition.
He dazzled last weekend against Liverpool.
And it was more of the same from Grealish at St. Mary’s Stadium, as he scored and assisted for one of Erling Haaland’s two goals.
Before the game, Harry Redknapp sang Grealish’s praises, stating that he is currently his favourite player in the Premier League.
He then proceeded to put in another fine display for City.
It has been a wonderful turnaround from Grealish. He faced a lot of criticism in his first season for playing too conservatively and not offering enough, given the price that was paid for him.

And Dickov has now revealed he recently had a conversation with the 27-year-old., which may shed some light on his upturn this season.
He told mancity.com: “I think he’s at that level now and he’s become such an important player for us.
“I spoke to him down at the Bristol City game after the game and he was saying that it just feels that Pep [Guardiola] really trusts him now and that’s done wonders for him.”
What Jack Grealish told Paul Dickov about Pep Guardiola certainly explains his improvement at Man City
It is interesting to hear this from Dickov and it does suggest why Grealish has been much, much better recently for City.
In his first season, he played like he was overawed.
He said that he liked his title of being the most expensive Premier League player ever (at the time). But his performances felt nervy.

But he’s now playing like a player who really does believe in himself.
And as Dickov says, someone who feels that genuine trust from his manager. That trust is evidenced by how much we have seen him recently. He has really nailed down that left wing spot, and he looks like he is relishing being out there.
