Paul Merson has now shared his prediction for Saturday’s Premier League clash between Manchester City and Bournemouth.
The 55-year-old shared his thoughts while writing for Sports Keeda.
So, what did Paul Merson write about Manchester City and Bournemouth? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, the Sky Sports pundit believes it will be an easy win for Pep Guardiola’s side – and cannot see the Cherries causing the Citizens “too many problems” at the Etihad Stadium.
Merson wrote: “Guardiola’s side lost to Arsenal but have bounced back with impressive wins against Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester United. All of a sudden, they could be top of the game once again and I expect that to be the case after they brush aside Bournemouth.
“The Cherries are coming on the back of their first win of the season against Burnley in a game which was pretty much a cup final for them, but I doubt they’ll cause City too many problems.”

Merson – who also claimed that the return of Rodri helped Bernardo Silva – added that he thinks Manchester City will win 3-0.
The treble winners will surely come into this Premier League clash with a lot of confidence, after hammering Manchester United in the derby at Old Trafford last Sunday in a comprehensive 3-0 win.
How Bournemouth have performed so far ahead of Manchester City clash
With all due respect to Andoni Iraola’s side, we can’t see them causing Manchester City too many problems either.
The Cherries have just one win from ten Premier League outings so far this season, drawing three while losing the other six.

That sole victory did, however, come in Bournemouth’s last Premier League encounter against Burnley, defeating Vincent Kompany’s side by a 2-1 scoreline.
Therefore, Iraola’s men will be more confident about Saturday’s clash than they previously were, although it is still likely to be a gargantuan task for Bournemouth to get a result at the Etihad Stadium.
