Pedri has admitted that if he had the power, he would ensure Barcelona signed Erling Haaland.
The Spanish international revealed that the Manchester City hitman would be the perfect long-term heir to Robert Lewandowski while speaking to Ibai Llanos on Twitch.
Most players, teams and managers in the world would perhaps be keen to work closely with Haaland.
Pedri says he would love Barcelona to sign Erling Haaland as long-term Robert Lewandowski replacement
Not only because the Champions League winner is one of, if not the most lethal goalscorer European football has to offer.
But since Haaland is just 23 years old, there is still so much upside left to his game.
With Robert Lewandowski not getting any younger at 35 years of age, Pedri has admitted that he would be over the moon if Erling Haaland was earmarked as his successor at Barcelona.

“For Barça, I would sign Haaland. He’s a cyborg. He scores a lot of goals. [Robert] Lewandowski is not going to last until he is 60”, he told Ibai Llanos on Twitch.
Erling Haaland is at the dream club already
Pedri would have perhaps seen Barcelona sign football’s biggest superstars in the vein of Erling Haaland growing up.
But times have changed and while the Spanish side remain a massive club, they no longer have the pull to handpick virtually any and every player from any side in the world.
Manchester City, on the other hand, perhaps wield this power.
Their recent success is evidence that not many clubs are run as well as they are and Erling Haaland has certainly witnessed the proof in the pudding, winning the treble last season.
As the Sky Blues have also lifted the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup this campaign, it looks like their pursuit for glory is never-ending.
With Manchester City matching Erling Haaland’s lofty ambitions, why would he even consider signing for a club like Barcelona, which has been on the decline for years is a question worth putting forth.
