Change is coming to Manchester City this summer.
The Manchester club rested on their laurels last summer after winning four Premier League titles in a row and have paid the price for not revamping their squad this season, as City are currently in a fight to qualify for next season’s Champions League with two games remaining.

Man City fans think Pep Guardiola made mistakes in their recent 0-0 draw with Southampton, and results like this cannot happen next season if the Spaniard’s team are to compete for the title once again.
The legendary coach will see several additions to his City squad over the coming weeks. As a result, Guardiola is already willing to let a player the Premier League side only signed last summer go ahead of the new campaign, if the right offer arrives.

Man City will listen to offers for Ilkay Gundogan
After spending seven years at Man City, the Premier League club re-signed Ilkay Gundogan last summer after the German decided to leave Barcelona.
The midfielder has gone on to feature in 47 matches for the Manchester club this season, with the one-year extension in the 34-year-old’s contract having already been triggered due to the number of games he has played.
Man City decided that Gundogan will stay for another year, however, they now seem to have changed their minds.
According to Ben Jacobs, Man City will listen to offers for Gundogan this summer despite the midfielder’s one-year deal and wish to stay, as the Premier League giants look to bring in at least two midfield recruits.
Gundogan made it clear that he wants to stay at Man City for another season, but room will need to be made for the new faces arriving at the Etihad Stadium this summer.
City are hopeful of bringing in AC Milan’s Tijjani Reijnders, while the Premier League outfit are ready to go all in on Florian Wirtz, who is Guardiola’s top target.

How has Ilkay Gundogan performed this season at Man City
Guardiola is a huge fan of Gundogan, and that was seen after the German left for Barcelona during the summer of 2023, with the Man City boss describing the midfielder as an ‘incredible player’ to ManCity.com after what he had done at the Etihad Stadium.
The 34-year-old did not reach the heights of his previous spell at City over the last year as the veteran star struggled at the start of the campaign, however, things have been better in recent weeks.

The German warrants another year at the Etihad Stadium, and he would be a great player to have around the dressing room, while coming into the starting 11 now and then.
Gundogan dreams of playing for Galatasaray one day, and although the 34-year-old wants to stay, it would be interesting to see his stance if the Turkish side arrives with an offer.
