Pep Guardiola was blown away by two players in particular in the win over Luton Town.
Manchester City returned to FA Cup action against their Premier League rivals and ran out emphatic 6-2 winners.
That sees them move to the quarter-finals and keeps the chances of a successive treble high.
City are just one point behind Premier League leaders Liverpool and have one foot in the Champions League quarter-finals with a 3-1 advantage over FC Copenhagen after the last 16 first leg.
Pep Guardiola has maintained it’s impossible to win back-to-back trebles but City are certainly looking like they could change that.

Especially when they have two players as sensational as Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne.
Guardiola was full of praise for both after the Luton win. Speaking to ITV, he said: “Yeah, what can I say? Really, really good.
“The guys were really perfect. Erling was on fire, Kevin, the connection was perfect.
“We found the space in behind and it was a really good game. Here is a tough game to come, I know exactly what I’m talking about and yeah we’re in the quarter-final.
“Yeah definitely [KDB and Haaland together take City to another level].
“The connection they have. Erling needs a player like Kevin and Kevin needs the movement from Erling. And everyone else really, really good.”

It’s little wonder Guardiola moved to praise the pair given they were vital to the win.
Haaland netted the first five goals on the night with his typical mercilessness in the box.
Some had started to question his quality while forgetting the fact he has still been feeling his way back to fitness after two months on the sidelines.
It certainly looks like he’s getting back to his best now and good timing, too, with Manchester United and Liverpool coming up.
De Bruyne, meanwhile, set up the first four with a string of sublime assists.
It takes his tally for the season up to 11 already, despite only playing 12 games and missing the first half of the season through injury.
It was the Haaland and De Bruyne show at Luton and a lot of teams are going to be scared of it going forward.
