Kyle Walker has reportedly made a U-turn regarding his future at Manchester City.
After seeing Walker being linked with a move to Bayern Munich in recent weeks and even verbally agreeing to join them this summer, the Manchester club have offered the full-back a new contract to keep him at the Etihad Stadium.
Now though, a big twist has emerged regarding this particular transfer saga.
Walker makes City decision

According to a recent report from The Athletic, Walker has decided to stay at City this summer despite his verbal agreement with Bayern.
The report also adds that this decision has come after the Englishman held talks with Pep Guardiola recently and will now be considering signing the new deal the Citizens have offered him.

Last month, Guardiola revealed in a press conference that the club will fight to keep hold of the 33-year-old, which seems to have been worthwhile given this latest update.

Described as a “phenomenal” player by Jose Mourinho, Walker proved his worth to the treble winners last season as he put in two defensively impressive performances against Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League, the second of which earned him big praise from Thierry Henry.
Given how much effort Guardiola and the club have gone into trying to convince the right-back to stay where he is, this shows how much they value him and why this may have had a big impact on his decision to stay at the Etihad for the time being.
Moving forward, with the veteran’s current contract set to expire next summer, if he ends up putting pen to paper on the new deal that City have offered him, this will undoubtedly be great news for everyone at the club and put to bed any doubts over his future.
