Darren Ambrose has predicted whether Manchester City or Arsenal will win the Premier League next season.
Considering Pep Guardiola’s men have beaten Mikel Arteta’s side to two successive league titles in a row, it will be intriguing to witness which way the title will swing in the 2024/2025 campaign if both teams are the main contenders once again.
So far, Arsenal are yet to make a single signing in the transfer window while City have signed Savinho.
Last season, the Gunners only lost the title to the Sky Blues by two points — which could indicate that the gap between both sides is decreasing with Manchester City beating the North Londoners by five points in their treble-winning season.

Darren Ambrose predicts Man City to trump Arsenal in title race next season
However, it is difficult to write a City side off who have won four league titles on the trot.
Simultaneously, Arteta and Co. continue to improve as a collective, due to their recruitment and their manager’s tactical additions to his side.
On talkSPORT (27/07/2024, 5:22 pm), Darren Ambrose claimed that Manchester City will beat Arsenal to the title crown once again.
“Man City. You just can’t write them off. No matter what happens, no matter what players they lose, you can’t write them off. I don’t want to say it but I think it will be the same two going toe-to-toe as well, Man City and Arsenal.”
Manchester City must have a psychological edge over Arsenal
Both Manchester City and Arsenal are top teams and on their day, it is a challenge to split which side is superior.
However, having beaten the Gunners to back-to-back league titles, Pep Guardiola’s men would surely have a psychological advantage over their title rivals.
Despite having beaten and drawn to City last season, Arsenal still could not win the league.
Keeping aside the magnificence of both managers and the squads at their disposal, Manchester City’s potential psychological edge over the side from the English capital is a key reason why it is hard not to bet on them to go all the way once again.
