A fresh revelation has emerged about when Erling Haaland could return from injury for Manchester City.
The last time Haaland played for City was during their 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa and ever since then, he has missed nine games through injury in all competitions.
However, The Times believe the Manchester City striker could be back in action sooner rather than later.
When could Erling Haaland return from injury for Manchester City?
Luckily enough for the Norwegian megastar, Pep Guardiola’s men have managed to cope in his absence.
The treble-winners have won eight out of their last nine fixtures during his time out injured in all competitions, while also winning the Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia last month.
It has been reported that Manchester City have chosen not to take any risks with the injury suffered by Erling Haaland and as a result, it seems unlikely that he will play any part in their upcoming FA Cup encounter with Tottenham Hotspur on Friday.
However, the 23-year-old has a chance of featuring against Vincent Kompany’s Burnley in the Premier League at the end of the month.

Manchester Evening News journalist Simon Bajkowski tweeted that the Leeds-born number nine returned to full training for the Sky Blues on Monday.
The report also claims that Haaland managed to complete the session without feeling any pain, as Guardiola had revealed last month that he had suffered a stress-related issue with his foot.
Erling Haaland would be returning at the perfect time
Considering Manchester City face Burnley on the last day of the month, the potentially imminent return of Erling Haaland from injury also seems to be perfectly timed.
It seems like City are getting better and better week by week as well as the fact that his partner-in-crime in Kevin De Bruyne is also fit and looks like he has not missed a beat.
Once Erling Haaland feels fully fit, Manchester City have every reason to be bullish about their title prospects.
