Manchester City have advanced through to the semi-finals of the Champions League, after drawing 1-1 with Bayern Munich this evening.
City are into the last four of the competition for a fifth time, winning 4-1 on aggregate.

Erling Haaland grabbed City’s goal, taking his tally to 48 in all competitions this season.
The Norwegian striker atoned for a rare penalty miss in the first-half.
He collected a pass from Kevin De Bruyne, skipped over a slipping Dayot Upamecano before firing into the top corner in clinical fashion.
The lively Kingsley Coman caused problems for the hosts.
But the City defence, as was the case in the first leg, was relatively strong throughout.
Bayern didn’t do too badly again. But ultimately they gave themselves too much to do after the first leg.
They were able to grab a consolation through Joshua Kimmich via the penalty spot. The decision to award the spot-kick for handball against Manuel Akanji was controversial to say the least.

City will now face Real Madrid in the semi-final which promises to be a mouth-watering tie.
Speaking straight after the game on BT Sport, Rio Ferdinand hailed goalscorer Haaland.
He said: “This is an absolute goal machine. Is he the problem?! That’s what people were trying to suggest. This guy is the solution. Coming up with big moments. Missed the penalty, unfazed. Gets another opportunity, bang back of the net. Phenomenal player.
“Could he be the icing on the cake that actually gets them over the line? He’s looking like he’s answering every question at every opportunity.”
Bernardo Silva also branded Haaland ‘a special player’, as he spoke to Ferdinand and the BT punditry team.
Erling Haaland showed fantastic mental strength this evening after penalty miss, as Rio Ferdinand hails striker
It was unusual to see Haaland miss from the penalty spot.
Undoubtedly, Bayern’s antics and also the raucous crowd played a part in him missing.

But he showed fantastic mental strength to score later in the game for City and atone.
He took his goal superbly well, and it capped a great performance all-round from him. His hold-up play was brilliant.
He really does feel like the man who could help City finally land that elusive Champions League trophy.
