Of course, City host Copenhagen in the second leg of the last 16 of the Champions League on Wednesday; a contest they are expected to win, especially at the Etihad Stadium.
After having beaten Manchester United, Manchester City and Rodri will be hoping that his staggering unbeaten streak remains intact against Liverpool on Sunday.
While a win would be ideal for the Sky Blues, even a draw at Anfield would ensure that they remain firmly in the Premier League title race.
A loss, however, would mean that Jurgen Klopp’s side extend their gap at the top of the table to four points.
Considering the frightening form Liverpool are in coupled with their experience of going on long winning runs, City’s title hopes could be in jeopardy if they succumb to a defeat to the league leaders.
