Roy Keane has now made a prediction ahead of the Premier League clash between Luton Town and Manchester City on Sunday.

The 52-year-old shared his thoughts when speaking alongside Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher and Ian Wright on The Overlap.

So, what did Roy Keane predict for Manchester City‘s trip to Luton Town? Let’s take a look…

Well, the Irishman – who said he would have loved to work with Pep Guardiola – unsurprisingly backed an easy win for the treble winners at Kenilworth Road.

Keane initially went with a 3-1 win for Manchester City, before Wright exclaimed in shock: “You’re giving them a goal?”

The Manchester United legend then said: “Okay, 3-0 then.”

Manchester City currently find themselves on an uncharacteristic four-game winless run in the Premier League, following draws against Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham as well as a loss to Aston Villa.

Whichever scoreline Keane truly believes will happen, the Sky Sports pundit is clearly expecting a simple win for Manchester City against Rob Edwards.

However, if the treble winners arrive in Luton with that attitude, they may be in for a surprise.

Manchester City must be professional against Luton Town

When Guardiola’s treble winners arrive at Luton Town’s 11,050 capacity Kenilworth Road on Sunday, it will be very easy for the likes of Erling Haaland and Bernardo Silva to think the three points are already won.

However – as Arsenal found out on Tuesday – the Hatters know how to make life hard for opponents on their own turf.

The Gunners almost tasted defeat to Luton Town as Ross Barkley put the 2022/23 Championship Play-Off winners 3-2 ahead, only for Declan Rice to eventually snatch the win in the 97th minute after a Kai Havertz equaliser.

Therefore, Manchester City have to apply themselves properly on Sunday, or a shock result could occur.
