Manchester City have a track record when it comes to selling their players to clubs in the Saudi Pro League.
Specifically, the previous summer transfer window saw Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte wave goodbye to the Etihad Stadium to make moves to the Middle East.
In the midst of another summer transfer period, another club from the Saudi Pro League have been knocking on the door to land a deal for one of the key players in Pep Guardiola’s squad.

Al-Nassr send Man City a transfer ultimatum over Ederson
A recent report from TEAMtalk had this to say on the matter.
It said: “Ederson is now pushing for the move to Saudi Arabia but the Citizens don’t want to lose him for a cut-price fee.
“TEAMtalk can reveal that Al-Nassr have given Man City a 48-hour deadline to accept a bid in the region of €25m (£21m) to €30m (£25.2m), which will be paid in instalments, so the next two days will be key in negotiations.”
Ederson’s exit would be a big blow for City
Since joining the Manchester club from Benfica back in 2017 for £35m, the Brazilian has made 332 appearances for the Blues across all competitions.
Having kept 115 clean sheets and won many trophies along the way, the 30-year-old has enjoyed a successful period as City’s first-choice goalkeeper.
Therefore, it makes sense that City don’t want to sell Ederson, who Danny Murphy said is a unique weapon for the team, for a fee they believe is below their valuation of him.
In addition to that, as it would be for any club, losing their first-choice goalkeeper would undoubtedly be a big blow for them as a footballing outfit.
