Savinho has had a fairly positive start to his journey at Manchester City.
Since arriving at the Manchester club from Troyes back in July, the winger has appeared in three out of City’s four games across the Community Shield and the Premier League, delivering two assists in the process.
Having missed City’s previous league game against West Ham United with a knee injury, the Brazilian has been watching some of his teammates perform on the international stage for their countries.
In fact, Savinho has now taken to social media to share some praise for one particular City player for his most recent international performance.

Savinho responds to Rico Lewis’ Instagram post after recent England performance
After completing 90 minutes in England’s recent 2-0 win over Finland in the Nations League, Rico Lewis shared a post on his official Instagram account.
The post included numerous pictures of himself in action as well as one of the pre-match tribute to Sven-Goran Eriksson.
Shortly after the post was shared, Savinho left a comment with the word “top” followed by several emojis to praise his City teammate.
Savinho and Lewis could be long-term stars at City
Completing 90 minutes as a left-back against Finland, Lewis was able to make three tackles and two key passes in the game.
His overall performance earned the 19-year-old a solid match rating of 7.9/10 from SofaScore, which is higher than the likes of Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka among others in the Three Lions’ starting XI on the night.
This display then led to Roy Keane sharing some significant praise for Lewis.
Now that Savinho has shared his positive response to Lewis’ post after his England performance, this shows how much he admires his City teammate and how supportive he is of him and his international endeavours.
Given how young both players are, it’s likely that they could be long-term stars for City and play together for a long time.
