Manchester City have made just one signing so far in this current summer transfer window.
Last month, City announced the signing of Savinho from French club Troyes.
After spending last season on loan at Girona, the winger will now be part of Pep Guardiola’s first team for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
The 20-year-old will now be set to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Ederson, Fernandinho, Gabriel Jesus and Danilo as Brazilians who have featured for Guardiola at City.
With his debut campaign at the Manchester club approaching, the 20-year-old has now shared what he’s been told about the fans he’ll be playing in front of for the foreseeable future.

Savinho shares what he’s been told about the Man City fans
Ahead of his unveiling at the Etihad Stadium this weekend before his debut campaign with the Blues, Savinho said this to the club’s official website about the City supporters.
He said: “As well as the massive success on the pitch over the past few years, I’ve also seen the support the team gets from fans off the field too.
“I’ve been told all about the atmosphere at the Etihad Stadium, how it brings the very best out of the team. And of course, the fans who travel away, too.
“You need great players to win things but the supporters always play such a big role in that success. It’s that connection that counts.”
City fans should be excited by Savinho
During his season in Spain with Girona last season, the winger, who Guardiola described as being “devastating” in one-on-one situations, made 41 appearances across La Liga and the Copa del Rey, scoring 11 goals and supplying 10 assists.
Having ended his league campaign with the highest number of goal-creating actions (25) and carries into the penalty area (80) at the Spanish club, this showcases how much of an exciting player he is and why the City fans should have their mouths watering at seeing him in action for their side.
