Manchester City have beaten RB Leipzig 3-2 tonight in the Champions League to make it five wins from five, and seal top spot in their group – and there was another top showing from Jeremy Doku.
City were miles off the pace in the first-half, with Lois Openda scoring two goals after getting the better of both Manuel Akanji and Ruben Dias.
It was an extremely sloppy display from City, and Pep Guardiola regularly cut a frustrated figure.
At half-time, he took off Dias and replaced him with Nathan Ake, with the Portuguese all out of sorts on his 150th appearance for the club.
City were able to get back on level terms after goals from Erling Haaland and Phil Foden, with the introductions of Julian Alvarez and Jeremy Doku key to the comeback.
£50,000-a-week star Doku, so good in recent weeks, was especially lively once again.
He was involved in the winning goal that was scored by Alvarez, and just generally caused problems the whole time he was on.
Paul Dickov raves over Jeremy Doku after his performance against Leipzig

Speaking on City’s Matchday Live show on YouTube, former striker Paul Dickov was left wowed by Doku’s substitute appearance this evening.
He was extremely lively against Liverpool at the weekend, and he just picked up where he left off tonight.
Dickov said: “Doku was sensational when he come on. They’re doubling up on him. He was sending them for pies left, right and centre!
“The whole shape of the team, the movement and the interaction and the tempo of the passing and being more incisive was a big, big difference from the first-half.
Doku electric
City were extraordinarily poor in the first-half tonight, but the substitutions by Pep completely changed the came.
To be fair, City probably couldn’t have played any worse in the second-half, but the manager must take some credit for not waiting too long to change things up.
Doku was absolutely amazing when he came on.
The 21-year-old was just so positive in everything he did and the City players realised straight away that he was going to get joy down that left side, and looked to find him at every opportunity.
He is surely now firmly ahead of Jack Grealish in the pecking order.
