Janusz Michallik has now likened Manchester City-linked wonderkid Jamal Musiala to Jude Bellingham.

Speaking to ESPN UK, the pundit made this claim about the Bayern Munich superstar, who was linked with a move in September to City as a long-term replacement for Kevin De Bruyne.

Now, Janusz Michallik has said that he sees similarities in Manchester City target Jamal Musiala and Jude Bellingham.

Branded as a ‘generational talent’ by Foot The Ball, the 20-year-old is regarded as one of the best young players in the world.

Despite only being a teenager, the youngster has a case for already being considered as a genuinely world-class midfielder.

Now, Janusz Michallik has given his thoughts on the prospect of Jamal Musiala joining Manchester City and why he is similar to Jude Bellingham.

“It’d be great. Anybody wants to play for Manchester City. I think Musiala would fit into just about any team as I’ve said, not the same but similar to Jude Bellingham can do obviously and we’ve seen what he’s done at Real Madrid”, he said.

“Just look, a player with so much upside obviously. Great between the lines, can combine, which is important of course at Manchester City as well, good with the ball at his feet obviously, can take players on as well, it makes sense. I mean, if you threw up his name for just about any team, it’s a yes, that makes sense and Musiala would make your team better.”

Jamal Musiala and Pep Guardiola would be a match made in heaven

Whether Jamal Musiala and Jude Bellingham have similar playing styles is a conversation for another day but the idea of him at Manchester City is an exciting one.

Especially considering how Pep Guardiola, who has a track record of improving players could take his game to the next level.

It seems like Musiala needs a coach like Guardiola to smoothen out the rough edges in his game and turn him into the best attacking midfielder in the world.

If the pair manage to work together at the Etihad Stadium, opposition defences would understandably have sleepless nights at the thought of that.
