As Manchester City and Arsenal are preparing to lock horns with each other on Sunday, several questions need answering.

For starters, whether Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta have a trick up their sleeve, either due to the style their teams plays or a certain selection in their respective sides on the day will be intriguing to discover.

Another question is which player will emerge as the difference-maker to give their team the edge over the other in the Premier League title fight.

“It’s not thought to be too serious and City are hopeful that he will be available for Sunday’s crucial game against Arsenal at the top of the Premier League”, she said on Sky Sports after he suffered a hamstring injury against in England’s 1-0 defeat to Brazil.

If Kyle Walker is deemed injury-free ahead of his side’s clash against Arsenal, one reason why his chances of starting seem likely is because he is the Manchester City skipper.

To add to that, when a winger of Vinicius Junior’s ilk believe the Englishman is the best defender he has ever faced, a right-back of such quality is tailor-made for such games.

However, only time will tell whether Walker will be fully fit to face Arsenal and if he is not, it would be unwise to throw caution to the wind and start him on Sunday.

To potentially lose Kyle Walker to injury until the end of the season could become a realistic possibility if his fitness is risked, which would be a huge blow for Manchester City even beyond their upcoming contest against Arsenal.
