Martin Keown has shared his prediction for tomorrow’s big Premier League clash between Manchester City and Liverpool.
After coming from behind to beat Manchester United in their previous league game, the Citizens will be looking to pick up another three points in what is undoubtedly one of their biggest matches of the campaign at Anfield tomorrow.
With this top-of-the-table showdown in sight, one pundit has shared their prediction for it.
Keown shares prediction for City vs Liverpool

Speaking on talkSPORT, Keown had this to say about tomorrow’s big game.
He said: “I think it’s one defeat from Liverpool over the last 20 games against City at home. So if you’re anybody looking at the game tomorrow, that looks very strong in Liverpool’s favour.
“Somehow though, I think City will win the game and I think they’ll win it because they see their next two Premier League games as their chance to be champions once more.
“The next one is Arsenal, and they’ll see it this way, as champions do, ‘Okay let’s go to Anfield, let’s beat Liverpool in their own back garden.’ It’s mouth-watering.”
As things stand, Pep Guardiola’s side are one point below Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table, with both sides winning 19 of their 27 played games.
The Reds, who currently have a number of first-team players out injured, have also scored more goals (64 vs 62) and conceded fewer (25 vs 27) than City.
With that in mind and the impressive record Liverpool have when playing City at Anfield, as Keown mentioned, it’s interesting to see that the former Arsenal defender has predicted an away win on this occasion.
If this were to be the outcome of tomorrow’s big game, this would undoubtedly be a big step for City to take towards potentially regaining the Premier League title.
