Steph Houghton has said that Manchester City winger Jack Grealish is now flourishing because he is full of confidence.
In the Premier League, the Englishman has scored a goal in his three previous appearances against Tottenham Hotspur, Luton Town and Crystal Palace.
This has since led to the winger being the topic of conversation with one pundit who knows what it takes to play for the club at a high level.
Houghton says confidence is key for Grealish

Speaking in a livestream from the club’s official YouTube account ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup final against Fluminense, Houghton had this to say about Grealish and his recent run of form.
She said: “I think you can tell with Jack that he just needs that little bit more confidence.
“I think just even scoring that goal against Luton to get the three points, it shows in his performance that he is getting a bit more confident.
“He does get doubled up a lot and that’s what a lot of the wingers do at this football club but he’s starting to produce goals and assists which is what everyone looks at him to do but he does a lot more than that in the game.
“He creates space for other people, he keeps hold of the ball, his ball retention is really good so I’m really happy for him.”
With the 28-year-old having had to battle Jeremy Doku for a place in the team this season, the England international has made the most of his time in the team over recent weeks with the Belgian out injured.
In fact, Grealish said back in November that while he recognises what he offers the team, he knows that goals are what will keep him in the side on a regular basis.
Moving forward, if the Englishman can keep scoring goals or providing assists once the Blues get back to Premier League action, he could give his side a great chance of lifting more silverware by the end of the campaign.
