Manchester City got back to winning ways on Sunday against Luton Town – and loanee James McAtee also made headlines the day before.
City defeated the Hatters 2-1 at Kenilworth Road to get back on track after four games without a win in the Premier League.
Bernardo Silva and Jack Grealish scored second-half goals for City, after Elijah Adebayo had given Luton the lead on the stroke of half-time.
Elsewhere this weekend in the Premier League, Sheffield United picked up an important win, beating Brentford 1-0.
The three points for the Blades came courtesy of City starlet James McAtee, who scored an absolutely sublime goal that has now drawn praise from BBC pundit Garth Crooks…
Garth Crooks in awe of James McAtee after superb goal for Sheffield United

McAtee was making his 12th appearance of the season for the Blades, and this was his first goal of the campaign.
The 21-year-old, on a season-long loan from City, picked up the ball at the corner of the penalty box from the right side.
He shifted the ball onto his left foot and then produced a simply beautiful curling effort that sailed into the far corner. It was an unstoppable strike, with Brentford goalkeeper Mark Flekken not even attempting to dive.
Selecting McAtee in his latest Team of the Week, Crooks said: “What a goal he scored against Brentford – and he meant it. McAtee looked up, saw what was possible, and nailed it. What then followed was something that looked like a football team that had suddenly found its way again. Sheffield United took the game to Brentford and won the battle.
“What was even more impressive than McAtee’s stunning winner was United’s first clean sheet of the season.”
A lovely goal from McAtee
What an absolutely superb goal this was from McAtee, who will be thrilled to finally get off the mark for the Blades this season.
McAtee came in for high praise from new Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder, who said after the game that he had been ‘outstanding again’ and suggested his price tag may have gone up as a result.
McAtee is a seriously talented young player, who also has a brilliant mentality.
There were some reports in the summer that Pep Guardiola was considering using McAtee in his squad this season, before he made his move back to Bramall Lane on loan.
If he can have more moments like this, then perhaps he will get his chance next season at the Etihad Stadium. If that is not to be the case, then City will at least likely make a lot of money selling him on.
