Garth Crooks has said that Ederson Moraes’ excellent performances in net for Manchester City have gone under-the-radar this season.

Garth Crooks highlights underrated Ederson impact in Premier League Team of the Season
Crooks picked a number of Sky Blues players in his team, while going as far as to say that Gundogan has been his Player of the Season.
The general consensus remains that as much as the Brazilian goalkeeper suits City’s system, he cannot be regarded as the best in the business as he usually does not have to make as many stops as his compatriots.
Garth Crooks could not disagree more and has given Ederson, whose sparkling displays have been left underappreciated his due credit.

“This season belongs to Ederson, who has quietly, but very effectively, played a blinder for Manchester City.”
Garth Crooks pinpointed why Ederson may be the most unique goalkeeper in the world, saying, “The Brazilian goalkeeper is almost as good with the ball at his feet as he is with it in his hands. This sets him apart from all the other ‘keepers in the world. Any team that retains possession as well and as often as City has to have a ‘keeper whose concentration is almost unbreakable.”
“He is a superb No.1 who has been central to City winning the title this season.”
Ederson is starting to become underrated
Garth Crooks hit the nail on the head about Ederson, who has remained terrific on the ball whilst upping his game as a shotstopper.
Last season in particular, the former Benfica No.1 for culpable for make quite a few errors.
However, in the ongoing campaign, Ederson has largely been flawless in every sense and in a team where the likes of Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne garner the most attention, he tends to be the least spoken about.
Credit to Garth Crooks for doing so, regardless of whether one believes he is deserving of a berth in the Team of the Season.
