Manchester City made it four wins from four in the Premier League yesterday – and fans were treated to an exciting cameo from Oscar Bobb.

Pep Guardiola’s side have been perfect so far in 2023/24.

Yesterday, City ran out 5-1 winners against Fulham at the Etihad, with Erling Haaland helping himself to a hat-trick.

Julian Alvarez and Nathan Ake also both scored, and it was a relatively comfortable day at the office.

What was particularly pleasing about yesterday’s game was that all the substitutes that came on made an impression.

And it was especially nice to see Bobb come on for his debut…

And the exciting Norwegian youngster showed some lovely touches and footwork.

And Bobb was actually involved in the build-up for the final goal by Haaland.

It was a great moment for the teenager, and after the game he marked the occasion with an Instagram post.

He wrote: “So happy to make my PL debut.”

A number of players have commented on Bobb’s post, including former City Romeo Lavia, who joined Chelsea from Southampton in August for a reported £58 million.

He had just two words for Bobb, writing ‘Surprised? No.’

Clearly, Lavia very much expected this moment for Bobb.

A lovely moment for Bobb

It was brilliant to see Bobb come on for his debut yesterday – and what a top young talent he looks.

He had very limited time on the pitch but still made an impression.

City may have just sold Cole Palmer, but Bobb very much looks like he can contribute to the first-team this season.

Hopefully, City fans will be seeing much more of him this term.
