Kyle Walker has claimed that fellow Manchester City defender, Josko Gvardiol, can become a top player at the Etihad Stadium.
The Englishman recently put pen to paper on a new contract extension to keep him at the Manchester club until 2026.
This then led to Walker having an interview with the club’s media where he spoke about a range of topics including the new players that City signed during the recent summer transfer window.
Walker shares high hopes for Gvardiol

On the subject of Gvardiol, who was one of the four players to make a move to the Etihad over the summer, Walker had this to say about the Croatian.
He said: “Josko is a Rolls-Royce of a centre-back and the age that he’s at and the quality he shows on the ball, with the manager, I feel the world’s his oyster basically.”

The Citizens shelled out a significant transfer fee of £77m to sign the 21-year-old from RB Leipzig back in August.

Since then, the centre-back has completed the full 90 minutes in three of the four games he’s appeared in for Pep Guardiola’s side.
Having picked up a lot of hype and attention due to his efforts for Croatia in the previous World Cup, this shows why Gvardiol had such a big price tag.
Even though he’s only been at City for just over a month, it’s clear that he has already impressed Walker with his ability on the ball.
Given his young age and the stage he’s already found himself at in his career, it’s easy to see why the Englishman thinks the summer recruit has the space ahead of him to become a top player in the Premier League, especially since he’ll be learning from Guardiola, as Walker mentioned.
