David Webb, the assistant manager of the Georgia national team, has claimed that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia would be a top signing for Manchester City.
The Napoli winger has been linked with numerous Premier League clubs in the past and has been backed by his agent to warrant a potential transfer fee of €100m (£87m).
Now though, one of the 22-year-old’s national coaches has been speaking out about the attacker and what sort of player he could be in the Premier League.
Georgia coach says Kvaratskhelia would suit Man City

Speaking in a recent edition of Transfer Gossip Daily, Webb had this to say about Kvaratskhelia.
He said: “He’s definitely got Premier League potential, I think personally. Having worked with him closely in training to see how good he is and working with him in the six or seven matches I have had with Georgia so far.
“He is a really good character in terms of in Georgia he is the main man, they worship him as one of the players who have risen up and been successful. But he’s a humble man, he is married. And he wants to play in the Premier League one day, he wants to play at the highest level he can.
“So I have no doubt I could see him at a Liverpool or a City, he is that good.”
Kvaratskhelia joined Napoli back in the 2022 summer transfer window and has since gone on to make 71 appearances for the Italian club in all competitions.
Across those 71 appearances, the winger has scored 19 goals and delivered 22 assists.
This season has seen the Georgian score five goals and supply three assists in 19 Serie A games, racking up more progressive carries (102), carries into the final third of the pitch (52) and carries into the penalty area (47) than any other Napoli player.
He also has the second-highest number of shot-creating actions (76) and joint-second-highest total of goal-creating actions (7) at Napoli, further highlighting how much of a forward-thinking and dangerous attacking player he is.
This makes it easy to see why Webb has been so complimentary to Kvaratskhelia and why he thinks the winger would be a top signing for a big Premier League side.
