Pep Guardiola’s tactical ideas have also seemingly inspired other coaches around the world, with Gary Neville recently describing him as a “genius.”
It would be fair to claim that no other tactician in the history of the sport has been as dominant as the Catalan during his 16 years of management.
When Brentford boss Thomas Frank was quizzed about which three managers, past or present, he would love to go for dinner with, one of the names he took was fellow Premier League head honcho Pep Guardiola.

“[Jurgen] Klopp, [Pep] Guardiola and Sir Alex [Ferguson]. Those would be the three”, he told Sky Sports.
Thomas Frank was asked what he would talk about with Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp and Sir Alex Ferguson.
“I know we’ll just speak about football. Culture, football, everything, life and probably also, I could imagine we could laugh a bit.”
