Erling Haaland lavished praise on to Riyad Mahrez after his exit from Manchester City to join Al-Ahli was confirmed on Friday.

As a result, it is a lovely sight to see the game’s biggest name in Erling Haaland laud Riyad Mahrez after spending a season with him on and off the pitch.
Apart from his debut campaign, Mahrez has always been such an influential performer at City.
Be it from 2019 to 2021, where the 32-year-old was perhaps their best forward or even after his peak years at the club, where he became an absolute output machine.
And yet, Riyad Mahrez rarely gets his shine amongst the masses, despite being one of the best widemen of his generation and a bona fide Premier League legend.
