Manchester City have begun their preparations for the 25/26 campaign.
Having competed in the FIFA Club World Cup this summer, Pep Guardiola’s squad returned for pre-season on Monday, which will be a much different build-up to the upcoming season than usual.
Unlike what is happening at Man United, every player took part in training on Monday, which included stars such as Jack Grealish, who is set to leave the Etihad Stadium before the current transfer window shuts.
There has also been a lot of talk around another member of Guardiola’s squad, and with many clubs already interested in the Man City star, Tottenham could now make a move over the coming weeks.

Tottenham could move for James McAtee
Tottenham looked certain to add Morgan Gibbs-White to their squad this summer, but the Englishman signed a new contract with Nottingham Forest after the Spurs deal collapsed due to an illegal approach complaint.
This has left the North London club to look elsewhere, and according to Manchester Evening News, Tottenham could renew their interest in the midfielder over the coming days and weeks.
“McAtee could well end up being the biggest sale City make this summer, and there has been considerable interest from the Premier League and Bundesliga,” Simon Bajkowski wrote.
“Nottingham Forest, Dortmund and Frankfurt have led the chase, while Spurs could renew their interest following the dramatic events surrounding the collapse of a move for Morgan Gibbs-White, who has instead signed a new deal at Forest.”
English clubs have been given a big boost in this race after McAtee decided last week that he wants to remain in the Premier League.
Nottingham Forest are another club keen on signing McAtee, which looks like the 22-year-old’s most likely destination at present.
Nottingham Forest are still working on James McAtee deal
Nottingham Forest’s main focus over the last week would have been on the situation of Gibbs-White, but now that has been sorted, the Midlands club will get back to recruiting players, which could begin with McAtee.
According to the Daily Mail, Nottingham Forest continue to work on bringing the Man City star to the City Ground, but are yet to submit an official bid for the 22-year-old.
Man City want around £40m for McAtee, but all summer it has been reported that interested clubs will look to get a deal done for £25m, as it remains to be seen who makes the first move for the English midfielder.
