Manchester City could make it three Premier League wins out of three this weekend.
Having beat Chelsea 2-0 and Ipswich Town 4-1 in their first two games of the new season, City will be taking on West Ham United at the London Stadium this weekend.
Last season saw the Blues beat the East London club 3-1 in both of their two league meetings.
In fact, the second of those 3-1 victories came on the final day of the campaign at the Etihad Stadium where Pep Guardiola’s side secured their fourth consecutive Premier League trophy.
Ahead of this latest showdown between the two sides, one pundit and former top-flight player has had his say on what he’s expecting from this match.

Troy Deeney assesses Man City vs West Ham
In a video recently uploaded on his official TikTok channel, Troy Deeney shared his predictions for all of this weekend’s round of Premier League fixtures.
On the subject of City’s away match against West Ham, the former Watford striker had this to say on the matter.
He said: “West Ham are that bogey team, they’re just horrible, they just sit in and get it done.
“I know they’re trying to play a different style. I don’t think they’re going to try and do too much.
“It’ll be really interesting because everyone’s saying Lopetegui’s got a completely different set-up.
“So if they’ve not got 45% possession against City then nothing’s changed, it’s exactly the same as what David Moyes was doing.
“I’m going to go 4-1 [to City].”
City will be favourites against West Ham
In his latest press conference, Guardiola shared the news that Phil Foden will likely be the only City player to miss Saturday’s game at West Ham through illness.
With City having a perfect start to the season and currently top of the table on goal difference heading into this third week of fixtures, it’s understandable why Deeney has backed them to pick up another big win.
