It has emerged that two Manchester City players have been playing through serious injuries for several weeks.
Considering City find themselves in the do-or-die part of the season, it does not help that they have as many injuries as they currently have.
Especially taking into account that two of their crucial players have had to fight through the pain to ensure Pep Guardiola’s men stay in contention to triumph on multiple fronts this season.
The same cannot be said for both Arsenal and Liverpool, as their injured players are merely resting.
Two Manchester City players have been playing through serious injuries for weeks
The worry for Manchester City would be if more names are added to their injury list.
While the Sky Blues would have hoped to be in three competitions at the ongoing stage of the season, their fixture pile-up is unforgiving and for them to come through such a difficult run, it is especially key for their top dogs to be able to stay fit like in the previous campaign.
The Daily Mail journalist Jack Gaughan has stated in a report that Phil Foden and Ruben Dias, who have been spotted wearing bandages on their hands have only been doing so because they have fractures.

It has been claimed that Dias suffered his fracture during Manchester City’s 1-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup in late January.
As for Foden, he suffered his fracture soon after.
However, the pair have been playing through the pain for several weeks now, with Phil Foden starting both friendlies against Brazil and Belgium while Ruben Dias also doing so against Sweden during the international break.
Fair play to Phil Foden and Ruben Dias
All one can do is applaud the dedication that Phil Foden and Ruben Dias have shown.

It is fair to claim that the City duo are committed to the cause of helping their team have yet another season to remember.
Especially in recent weeks, Ruben Dias has been excellent while Phil Foden is having the campaign of his life, despite the pair suffering such painful injuries.
The only hope remains that their fractures do not get aggravated to the point that they are forced to miss a chunk of games going forward.
