Journalist Tyrone Marshall has claimed that Bernardo Silva may look to leave Manchester City this summer.
The 28-year-old was linked with a move to Barcelona last summer, only for him to decide to stay at City.
Recent weeks have seen Paris Saint-Germain linked with the Portuguese international as they see him as a potential replacement for Lionel Messi.
Now though, one journalist has suggested that the subject of Silva’s future could be a prominent one for City this summer.
Bray claims Silva may want Barcelona move

Speaking on a recent edition of the Manchester Evening News’ Talking City podcast, Marshall said this about Silva and what the upcoming summer transfer window could hold for him.
He said: “It wouldn’t be summer in Manchester without Bernardo Silva’s future being questioned.
“I don’t think it’s a secret to anyone now if Barcelona came calling, he would want to go. The reality is it’s hard to see how they could afford any kind of package that would convince City to do business.
“Guardiola has always had this policy of if a player has had enough or wants something new then bring us an offer and we’ll let you go. You’d think Bernardo is the one player he might say ‘sorry, I’m not really sure about that’, because you really wouldn’t want to lose him to that team.”
Having started 35 of the 52 games he’s featured in across all competitions this season, this highlights just how much of an important figure Silva is for City and why Guardiola would be keen to keep hold of the midfielder.
Moving forward, with the summer transfer window on the horizon, it will surely be one of City’s main priorities to make sure Silva remains at the Etihad Stadium, regardless of whatever offers may or may not come in for him.
