Pep Guardiola had a coming together with Darwin Nunez on the touchline after Manchester City’s 1-1 draw against Liverpool.
A goal from Erling Haaland put the Citizens 1-0 up in the first half, only for Trent Alexander-Arnold to score in the second period of the game and rescue a point for the Reds.
After the action in the game had ended, something else became a talking point as there was some sort of conflict between the two camps on the touchline after the final whistle.
Footage shows coming together between Guardiola and Nunez

A recent video published on the Sky Sports Premier League Twitter account showed Guardiola and Nunez greeting each other at the end of the match, which was then followed by the Liverpool attacker having to be pulled away from the Spaniard by Jurgen Klopp in what appeared to have quickly become a hostile situation.
Speaking to the media shortly after, Guardiola said that nothing happened between him and Nunez, which was then followed by Klopp saying that he wasn’t sure what the supposed argument was about.
Having started the match, Nunez played until the 85th minute before being substituted for Harvey Elliott.
Across those 85 minutes, the attacker had 23 touches of the ball in total, successfully completing 10 passes and having one of the three shots on target Liverpool had in the game.
Having also picked up a yellow card during the game, it could be assumed that Nunez was not pleased with his performance or the fact that he was taken off before the end of the match.
With both managers pouring cold water on what happened on the touchline, it seems that this incident isn’t something that will carry on any further or take away any of the focus on what was an entertaining match between two of the best teams in the country.
