Dan James has shared how much he loves seeing Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne play.
The Leeds United winger spent some time at Manchester United before he made his way to Elland Road back in 2021.
Now though, the former Red Devil has been sharing his admiration for one of City’s biggest stars.
James buzzing to see De Bruyne

Speaking in a recent edition of The Official Leeds United Podcast, James had this to say initially about Eden Hazard after he named the former Chelsea winger as one of the players he admired as a youngster before he then mentioned De Bruyne.
He said: “It was obviously not good how many injuries he had in his career because you want to see them players every week just like a De Bruyne.
“You hate to see him out injured because anyone from the outside – unless you’re playing them – loves watching what they can do with the ball and that kind of excellence.”
The Belgian has spent the majority of the current season out injured after he had surgery to fix a hamstring problem.
Since making his return to action, the 32-year-old has provided three assists and scored one goal in four appearances.
Across the 32 Premier League games he featured in last season, De Bruyne ended up making more key passes (96) and goal-creating actions (31) than any other player at City.
This makes it easy to see why James is so pleased to see the midfielder back to full fitness and out on the pitch again, especially since De Bruyne is someone who can clearly make things happen on the pitch for his side.
Moving forward, if the Belgian can keep his fitness up for the remainder of the season and deliver goal contributions on a regular basis, he’ll give his side a great chance of regaining the silverware they lifted last term.
