Jack Grealish has described his Manchester City teammate Bernardo Silva as a magician.
With the Portuguese international celebrating his 29th birthday today, Grealish has taken to social media to share a message to his City teammate.
In a recent story on his official Instagram account, Grealish had this to say about Silva.
He said: “Happy birthday magician/hobbit. What a boy 💙💙💙.”
Grealish and Silva’s City relationship

Back in 2017, Silva joined City from Monaco in a deal worth £43m and has since gone on to make 307 appearances for the club in all competitions.
Across those appearances, the 29-year-old has scored 55 goals, delivered 59 assists and won many trophies including five Premier League titles.
Since Grealish arrived at the Etihad Stadium in 2021, the two players have gone on to feature in 74 games together, but have only racked up one joint-goal participation, which came during City’s 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League last season.

This Instagram message isn’t the first time the Englishman has shared his admiration for Silva, as he was spotted begging the midfielder to stay at City during their celebrations at the end of last season.
It also isn’t the first time the midfielder has been labelled as a magician, as former City boss Stuart Pearce called him that back in April after watching his performance in the 3-0 win over Bayern Munich last season.
The Portuguese international has also shared his praise for the winger as he hailed his “unbelievable” performances last season.
Taking all of that into account and Grealish’s latest social media message to his City teammate, it’s clear that the duo have a great relationship, which will surely please Pep Guardiola.
