As the five-time Premier League winner has become somewhat of City’s main man this season, his goal should be to continue to improve.
If Foden continues to spearhead his side to wins as he has so far, by the time the campaign comes to an end, he may have no doubters left.
But even more importantly, Phil Foden is still a young player and as magnificent as he is, he would perhaps admit himself that his game still has plenty of notches to reach. As a result, the silky technician should be aware that as far as his development is concerned, the job is far from done.
