However, Manchester City fans had the perfect response…

What Manchester City fans chanted at Huddersfield supporters

Well, the Huddersfield fans could be heard chanting “where were you when you were ____” towards Manchester City supporters as they watched their beloved Terriers receive a hammering at the Etihad Stadium.

In what was a fantastic response, the Etihad Stadium faithful responded with a rendition of “scoring ten when you were ___” in reference to Manchester City’s 10-1 win over Huddersfield in 1987, as also heard by the Manchester Evening News.

Huddersfield fans did not have much to shout about on Sunday, and they clearly failed their own battle in the stands while the Terriers also lost heavily out on the pitch.

Pep Guardiola has already seen Arsenal drop out of the FA Cup after Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Liverpool, which means one major rival for the trophy is out of the way, although Chelsea and Newcastle have booked their spot in the fourth round along with the Reds.

Hopefully, Manchester City receive a relatively straightforward draw, as the club’s focus will presumably be on regaining a foothold of the Premier League title race after the winter break.
