Francis Lee has sadly passed away at the age of 79 as the football world comes together to mourn the loss of a Manchester City legend.
The man born in Westhoughton, Lancashire cemented himself as an icon for the Citizens during a truly special career in football.
Lee made 330 appearances in total for Manchester City, scoring 148 goals after joining from Bolton Wanderers in £60,000 in 1967, before going on to become Chairman of the club in 1994 until 1998.
